Refund & Ineligibility Policy
Clear, guaranteed protections for competitive advertisers
1. Race Condition Auto-Refund Guarantee (No Silent Demotion)
Because leaderboards are live and competitive, two advertisers may attempt to claim the same rank concurrently.
If your payment is captured but the position was claimed by another advertiser during your checkout window, you are never silently demoted to a lower rank (e.g. #4). Instead:
- Your placement is rejected: PLACEMENT_REJECTED
- A 100% full refund is immediately dispatched: REFUND_PENDING → REFUNDED
- You receive immediate notification: "Your bid was no longer eligible when payment settled. Your refund has been initiated."
2. Displaced / Outbid Placement Terms
When an active placement is later outbid by a competitor with a higher eligible bid during the 7-day battle cycle, the previous company is cascaded to a lower rank (1–10) or outbid status. Placement fees for elapsed advertising time on the live leaderboard are non-refundable once live visibility was delivered.
3. Board Expiration or Emergency Freeze
If a payment settles after a board cycle has concluded or while an emergency administrative freeze is in effect, an automated full refund is processed immediately.
4. Refund Settlement Times
UPI and NetBanking refunds typically reflect in the source account within 2–24 hours. Credit/Debit card refunds reflect in 3–5 business days depending on the issuing bank.
